Hey Guys, In this video i will show you how you can downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 on the iPod Touch Only. You will need to find the firmware for your device your self guys or just use: www.felixbruns.de The Firmware is available on the link above for all 3.1.2 firmware for all i-devices just hit download on the firmware that you want. If you wanna downgrade an iPod touch 3g people have been saying that if you use the iPod touch 2g 3.1.2 firmware it should work. Without any errors. I TESTED THIS AND IT STILL WORKS! Thank you, I’d updated my 2G to 4.0 and (like many) my ipod had became laggy, quick to drain and prone to quit out back to home screen, I rolled back to 3.1.2 and now my nice, stable ipod “just works” again!
Unfortunately I couldn’t restore my back-up (itunes told me my software was now ‘too old’) so I lost some info when I had to sync instead, but it was worth it. Thanks again.

It said it wasn’t compatible for me so I downloaded the 2G 3.1.2 firmware and it worked, so try that.

If you back up your ipod first ( just sync it with your computer ) then after you downgrade you can reinstall your apps.

i jailbroke my 3rd gen 8gig ipodtouch (firmware 3.1.3) and now i can’t unjailbreak it. Do you think that if i downgrade my ipod to 3.1.2 i can unjailbreak it? Well actually the probblem when i jail break is thati cant restore my ipod (it sucks) so alot of websites have be3n telling me that if i downgrade i can unjail break it. but YOUR OPINIONS COUNT TOO!
